Each manufacturer adds their own makernote fields — Samsung embeds scene detection tags, Pixel includes Night Sight and astrophotography flags, and some Xiaomi models record AI scene classification. Our viewer reads all standard EXIF plus manufacturer-specific extensions.
Android photos default to GPS tagging if location permission is granted to the camera app. Check Settings → Apps → Camera → Permissions → Location to verify your current setting.
