It processes your image through a multi-stage encoder-decoder network, producing a pixel-level probability mask that separates foreground from background. The model is especially strong on hair, fur, semi-transparent fabrics, and fine edges — the details most background removers smudge. The model performs best when the subject clearly contrasts with the background — good lighting and a distinct foreground make the biggest difference. Use the before/after compare view to inspect the cutout along hair, fur, and edges before downloading. For product shots or ID photos, replace the transparent background with a solid white or custom color directly in the tool.
