How do I mirror an image?
Drop your image above. It is mirrored left to right straight away. Press Download to save it, or Flip vertical for an upside-down mirror.
Why do my selfies look reversed?
Many phones save front-camera photos the way the preview showed them, as a mirror. Text on a shirt or a sign then reads backwards. Mirroring the photo fixes it.
Is mirroring the same as flipping?
Yes. A mirror image is a horizontal flip: left and right swap places. This page simply does it for you as soon as the photo loads.
How do I put a photo next to its mirror image?
Pick Side by side under Effect. The photo stays on the left and its mirror appears on the right, so the result is twice as wide. Reflection below does the same underneath, like water.
How do I make a face or photo symmetrical?
Pick Symmetric (left half) or Symmetric (right half) under Effect. That half is kept and mirrored onto the other side. The size stays the same.
Does mirroring lose quality?
No pixels are changed, only moved. Keep the original format or save as PNG to avoid extra compression. A very large side-by-side result is scaled down to fit browser limits, and the toast says so.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The image is mirrored with the Canvas API in your browser tab. It never leaves your device.
