9 Forensic Analyses in One Report

Error Level Analysis

Detects edits by comparing JPEG recompression error levels across image regions.

AI Generation Detection

Checks for Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion markers, C2PA credentials, and noise patterns.

Clone Detection

Finds copy-pasted regions by comparing image blocks across distant areas.

Noise Analysis

Maps noise distribution — inconsistencies reveal compositing or localized editing.

JPEG Ghost

Detects resave artifacts by sweeping quality levels to find the original compression.

Screenshot Detection

Identifies screenshots by resolution, DPI, aspect ratio, and software metadata.

EXIF Metadata

Extracts camera, GPS, timestamps, and software — key signals for authenticity.

SHA-256 Hash

Cryptographic fingerprint proves the exact file was analyzed in this report.

PDF Report

Professional A4 document with all findings, heatmaps, and methodology notes.

Evidence photos need integrity verification. The SHA-256 hash and EXIF analysis provide traceable forensic documentation.

HR & Background Checks

Verify submitted documents and photos for signs of editing, AI generation, or screenshots of fabricated content.

Concerned Individuals

Check whether a photo you received was edited or AI-generated. The free dashboard gives you answers in seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions

What analyses are included in the forensics report?

The report runs 9 analyses: Error Level Analysis (ELA), AI generation detection, clone detection, noise analysis, JPEG ghost analysis, screenshot detection, EXIF metadata extraction, SHA-256 hash, and an overall weighted verdict. The free dashboard shows all results; the PDF report adds methodology notes and is formatted for professional use.

Is the analysis done on your servers?

Most analyses (ELA, noise, clone detection, AI detection, JPEG ghost, screenshot detection) run entirely in your browser using Canvas APIs. Only EXIF extraction sends the image to the server briefly. The image is auto-deleted within 1 hour and is never stored permanently.

How accurate is the forensic analysis?

Each analysis provides probabilistic indicators, not legal proof. The overall verdict combines 9 weighted signals — no single test is conclusive. The report includes a methodology disclaimer. For high-stakes decisions, combine these results with manual expert review.

Can I use the results for free?

Yes. The interactive dashboard with all 9 analysis results, scores, verdicts, and heatmaps is completely free — no signup required. The paid PDF report adds professional formatting, SHA-256 verification, methodology notes, and a unique report ID for independent verification.

What does the PDF report include that the free dashboard doesn't?

The PDF report is a professional A4 document with: branded header, unique report ID, all analysis results with scores and explanations, ELA and noise heatmap images, full EXIF metadata table, SHA-256 hash, methodology and disclaimer section, and a verification URL where anyone can confirm the report is genuine.

Can the report detect AI-generated images?

The AI detection analysis checks for C2PA content credentials, known AI software markers in EXIF, common AI generation dimensions, and noise uniformity patterns. It works best for images from Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and similar generators. However, heavily post-processed AI images or those with stripped metadata may evade detection.
