How do I flip an image?

What is the difference between horizontal and vertical flip?
Horizontal flip swaps left and right, like a mirror. Vertical flip swaps top and bottom, so the picture is upside down and reversed.
Is flipping the same as rotating 180°?
No. Rotating 180° turns the picture upside down but text still reads correctly when you turn it back. A flip reverses it, so text reads backwards.
Does flipping lose quality?
No pixels are changed, only moved. Save as PNG, or keep the original format, to avoid extra compression.
Are my images uploaded?
