Add Border to Image
Drop a photo, pick the border width and colour, and download. The border is added around the photo, so nothing of your picture is covered or shrunk. Everything runs in your browser – nothing is uploaded.

Per-Corner Control
Set a different radius for each corner — top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right. Create pill shapes, half-rounded cards, notched layouts, or any asymmetric corner style you need.
Transparent Output
Transparent background by default — rounded images composite seamlessly over any surface. Switch to a solid color when you need opaque PNG output for email or platforms without alpha support.
Privacy-First
All rounding, padding, and border rendering happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device — no server uploads, no data retention, no accounts required.
How it works
The border goes around, not over
Many border tools draw the line on top of the photo, so a 20 px border hides 10 or 20 px of your picture at every edge. Here the canvas grows instead: a 20 px border on an 800×600 photo gives an 840×640 file, and every pixel of the photo is still in it, at its own size.
The width you set is the width you get
The border is exactly the number of pixels on the slider, on all four sides. The line under the preview spells out the photo size, the border, any padding and the final file size, so you can check it before you download.
Square or rounded corners
The border starts with square corners. Raise the corner radius to round the photo, and the outer edge of the border is rounded to match, so the band stays the same width all the way round the curve.
White border, black border, any colour
White is the default, the classic print and Instagram look. Pick any colour with the colour picker. Padding adds a second band outside the border in the background colour, or transparent, which gives a mat-and-frame effect.
